Wonderful Weaving!

Second graders created wonderful paper weaving's!

We turned them into Wild Animal Masks!

We elaborated and added lots of fabulous details!

Finally we displayed them on the wall to share with everyone!

They have SOOO much variety! Aren't they Amazing!

Fourth Graders did a different kind of weaving using a loom, warps, wefts, a shuttle and YARN...

They were absolutely Awesome!

Fifth graders slipped away without pictures. :(  But here is a video or 2 from YouTube showing how we made our wonderful radial design weaving's.

CLAY!!!!!!!!! GLORIOUS CLAY! WONDERFUL CLAY, MARVELOUS CLAY!!!!

Once we finish making our clay projects the kids always seem to ask....

When Do we get to paint our CLAY?

I tell them when you see the paint on the table. :)

So here they are...

Kindergarten made pinch pot bugs and texture tiles for them to sit on. Some even made habitats!

First grade made majestic and exoctic owl wall hangings!

We were inspired by real owls.

Second grade Second grades fish made a splash!

It was a long process. First we painted.

Then, we chose beads and pipe cleaners to go with our fish. Finally, we put it all together to make our beautiful relief fish wall hanging!

Third, fourth and fifth grade worked really hard! Right up to the last minute so we have fewer pictures, but they are fabulous too! They used Mod Podge to make them glossy. So some are still wet in the pictures.

Third grade made 3 dimensional animal sculptures!

Fourth grade made 3 dimensional Fantasy containers!

Fifth grade made Relief portraits!

Aren't they ALL AWESOME!
