Thanks for all your help Team!

This year is a little different than in the past. I am now the one and only art teacher here at Christie, since last year when our enrollment dipped below 700.

I have always loved having help in the past but this year it means even more! I have many fabulous moms, watch dog dads and even grandparents that have come in to lend a hand!

Many students that have also donated their time on rainy days at recess or after school! It really shows what a wonderful Christie family we truly have! Thanks team! Take a look at our wonderful displays that were definitely a team effort!

First Grade's Henri Matisse inspired collage...

Second grades' Eric Carle and Franz Marc inspired animals...

3rd grades Klimpt's Inspired self portraits...

Glitter like gold!

Kinder, Fourth and Fifth graders art works are also included in the display outside the learning commons...

Fifth graders explored Surrealism...

4th graders made symbolic self portraits inspired by Frida Kahlo...

Kindergarten learned all about lines and texture to create their fabulous portfolios!

When you walk in the front hallway I know you'll love the variety of work that you can see!

Thanks again team for all your help! If you want to join our team contact me at ruth.tice@pisd.edu
