5th Grades Technology Self Portraits
During the first nine weeks fifth graders created wonderful black and white self- portraits. Using their own original drawings, over the last several months they have been creating Photoshop Element Technology Portraits.

CLAY!!!!
Last week every student did CLAY In Mrs. Tice's classes!
Here are just a few examples:
Second grade created their own fabulous fish!
Fifth grade made a plethora of portraits, from animals to people and realistic to fantasy.
3rd and 4th graders worked soooo hard! They worked right up until the last second so I didn't get any pictures. :( But They made amazing animals and beautiful boxes!
We will be firing them soon! Many kids wonder...
How does firing work? And why do I have to wait so LONG!?

Sorry I haven't written for a while! But we've been really busy getting ready for Culture Fest!
I thought I would share some more artworks that our students created for last week's special night!
Japanese Cherry blossoms abounded in second grade!
While Students from Music in Ms Twinings' 3rd grade class sang Sakura! The Japanese Cherry blossom song during our performances.

Fourth grader's from Mrs. Tices' Class made Adinkra and Kente' printing designs inspired by the work of African artist from Ghana.

Fifth grader's made wonderful Egyptian printmaking Hieroglyphs, with metal tooling Sarcophagi, Cartouches, and other Egyptian Symbols.

Third grade made fantastic Paper Molas inspired by the Kuna people of Panama.
